REGISTRATION

When will registration open?

Where do I go to register?

How much is registration?

  • In-Person: $375.00
  • Virtual: $450.00
  • Retired Physicians, In-Person ONLY: $225.00
  • Residents, In-Person ONLY: Free

What are the benefits of attending in-person?

  • Visiting with old friends and other physicians.
  • Networking with exhibitors.
  • Meals and materials are included.
  • You’ll receive a Fall Fling gift.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to attend Corporate Night at Tulsa’s Oktoberfest.
  • No eye strain from sitting in front of a computer all day.

What do I need to know about virtual attendance?

  • You must have a Zoom account. You can register for an account HERE.
  • It is recommended to use the email address you use to login to Zoom to register for the program. Use this same email address throughout your participation, including the evaluations.

What if I want to switch my registration from virtual to in-person or vice versa?

  • There is a $25.00 administrative fee for all registration adjustments.
  • All adjustments must be made by Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
  • There will be no refunds issued if switching from virtual to in-person.

Can I attend virtually one day and in-person another other day?

  • Yes. If you’ve registered as a virtual attendee, you will have the opportunity to attend in-person.
  • Please verify which day(s) you plan to attend in-person so that we may plan accordingly for materials and catering.
  • No pricing adjustments will be made for hybrid attendance.

My schedule has changed and now I can’t attend. Can I get a refund?

  • Refunds must be requested in writing to chsalumni@okstate.edu.
  • All refund request must be submitted by Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
  • If your cancellation is approved, a $50.00 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund.

Where can I get a receipt for my registration fee?

  • A receipt will be sent to the email address provided on your registration within 3 business days of your registration. However, if you need a copy of that receipt at any time, please contact Michele Caine at MCaine@OsteopathicFounders.org.

ATTENDANCE & CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT

How do I get credit for my participation?

  • All participants must have a record of attendance AND submit an attestation and evaluation for each lecture attended.
  • A certificate will be sent to those attendees who have satisfied both requirements.

How do you record my attendance?

  • In-person attendees must sign-in each day.
  • Virtual attendees must login and attend lectures via their own Zoom account. Zoom will record your attendance.

How will the evaluations be submitted?

  • Evaluations will be submitted using an online platform.

What if I’m having issues with the digital evaluation?

When will evaluations be available?

  • Evaluations will open at the scheduled end time of each lecture. Evaluations will be open until Friday, October 25, 2024.

How do I know if I’ve submitted all of my evaluations?

  • You will receive an email for your records after each lecture evaluation is submitted.
  • If you have questions or need to confirm evaluation submittals, please email Adrienne Kingsley at AKingsley@osteopathicfounders.org.
  • If there are missing evaluations, you will receive an email in the week following Fall Fling with the missing information.

How do my CME hours get reported?

  • The Osteopathic Founders Foundation will report CME credits to the AOA for osteopathic physicians.
  • All other healthcare providers will be responsible for submitting their hours to their own licensing board.

When will certificates be sent?

  • Certificates will be sent to the email address provided in your registration by Friday, October 29, 2024 OR once we receive all evaluations.

I’m a DO. When will my CME hours be submitted?

  • CME hours for all osteopathic physicians will be submitted to the AOA by Friday, November 6, 2024. The Osteopathic Founders Foundation will also report proper prescribing credit to the OSBOE.

Unfortunately, I cannot attend the live presentation. Can I watch the recording at a later date and still get credit?

  • No, only those that participate live are eligible for CME credit.

Will Proper Prescribing credit be offered?

  • Dr. Jason Beaman’s lecture, Proper Prescribing of Controlled Substances, scheduled for Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11:15am meets the annual licensure renewal requirement for one (1) hour of education in pain management or one (1) hour of education in opioid use or addiction per Oklahoma SB 848 as approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners and the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure & Supervision.

What type of schedule should we expect?

  • Please click HERE for the Fall Fling agenda.
  • Plenty of breaks will be provided. For in-person attendees, meals and snacks will be provided, so you will not need to leave campus.

SPEAKERS & PRESENTATIONS

Where can I find more information about the speakers?

Will the speaker’s presentations be available for download prior to the event?

  • Yes. If a speaker has given us permission, we will upload their presentation to the website the week of the event.
  • Follow the same link above where presentations may be found with the speaker’s biographies.

Will printouts of the speaker’s presentations be available at the event?

  • No. You must download and print the presentations yourself.

Will a recording of the speaker’s presentations be available at a later date?

  • Yes. If a speaker has given us permission, the video of their lecture will be uploaded to the Osteopathic Founders Foundation YouTube Channel. You can find past recordings HERE.

IN-PERSON ATTENDEES

Do you have any recommendations for overnight accommodations?

  • A special rate has been setup with the Brut Hotel. Click HERE or call (918) 508-7400 and reference the OSUCME rate code. The rate is available for Wednesday and Thursday night only. You must reserve your room before Wednesday, October 9, 2024 to receive the discounted rate.
  • The rate should be $159.00 for a king-bedded room OR two double-bedded room.

Where will the in-person program take place?

  • Fall Fling will take place in the AR & MaryLouise Tandy Medical Academic Building which is part of the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (1633 Southwest Blvd | Tulsa, OK 74107).
  • Lectures will take place in Room 411 on the 4th floor. Exhibitors, snacks, and meals will be in the Conference Center, located just across the hall from the lecture room.

Where should I park?

  • We’re very pleased that attendees will now be permitted to park on campus for Fall Fling.
  • Parking is available in any non-reserved parking spaces; however, we encourage attendees to park in the East Lot. (See link to campus map HERE.)
  • If parking in the Parking Garage, please take the elevators to the first floor and enter the building through the main entrance.

How do I access the building?

  • Regardless of where you park, you must access the building from the main entrance located on the South side of the building.

What time does sign-in start for Fall Fling?

  • Please refer to the Fall Fling Agenda for starting times. Sign-in will begin 30 minutes prior to the first lecture each day.

Is there a way to find out if my friends are attending?

  • Yes, you can view our list of attendees HERE. That webpage is updated regularly as registrations are received.

Is there a way to find out which exhibitors will be in attendance?

  • Yes, you can view our list of exhibitors HERE at the bottom of the page.

VIRTUAL ATTENDEES

When will I receive the Zoom registration link?

  • The Zoom registration link will be sent to all virtual attendees no later than Monday, October 14, 2024.

How do I get the Webinar link?

  • Once you submit the Zoom registration (input your first name, last name, and email address), you will receive the webinar link from no-reply@zoom.us email. Remember, register with the same email you use to login into Zoom.

What do I do if I’m having issues with Zoom?

  • First, we recommend clicking on the Zoom registration link when you receive it. If necessary, you can reset your password at that time. Register on Zoom with your name and email address. Remember, use the email address you use to login in to Zoom. You will receive the webinar link from no-reply@zoom.us.
  • Second, we recommend you log in at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the lectures to ensure your Zoom is active, your password is correct, and Zoom is up-to-date. If necessary, use the prompts to update your Zoom when you login.
  • Lastly, if you are still having issues with Zoom, we encourage you to reach out BEFORE Fall Fling begins. While there will be a contact person to answer your questions, this person will NOT be an IT professional. Any issues with your computer and/or software are the owner’s responsibility. Refunds will not be offered for issues preventing participation the day of the event.

If I am participating online, how do I submit questions for speakers?

  • Questions will need to be submitted in the Q&A section of Zoom. Questions submitted in the Chat section will not be acknowledged during the lectures.
  • The chat is reserved for networking and peer-to-peer conversations.

OKTOBERFEST ATTENDEES

Where do I park?

  • Please park in the East Lot of the OSU-CHS campus. If you parked in the garage for the afternoon session of Fall Fling, you will need to move your car to the East Lot by 6:00pm. You may refer to the Campus Map for location.

How do I get to River West Festival Park?

  • It is a short walk from the OSU-CHS East Lot to River West Festival Park. Turn left out of the parking lot and follow the sidewalk past the apartment complex to reach the festival site.

Do I need a ticket?

  • Yes, you will receive a paper ticket on Wednesday during check-in for Fall Fling.

What is included with my ticket?

  • Admission to Oktoberfest and a commemorative MassKrug (1 liter stein) or KleinKrug (1/2 liter stein). Attendees will be responsible for the purchase of any food and beverage.

Can I bring my spouse?

  • Yes, if tickets are available. Please visit the OSU-CHS Alumni table at Fall Fling.

Where do I go once inside?

  • The OSU-CHS Alumni will have 3 tables in the Lufthansa Technik BierGarten tent.

What if I have more questions before arriving to Oktoberfest?

  • Please visit the OSU-CHS Alumni table at Fall Fling.
