Textbooks
The Osteopathic Founders Foundation supports the purchase of textbooks for use in post-graduate training programs at OSU Medical Center and the OSU Center for Health Sciences through its grant program. Limited funds are available to assist with the purchase of textbooks within the following guidelines:
Eligibility and Guidelines
- The program is available to residents and fellows who are enrolled in a post-graduate training program sponsored by OSU Medical Center or the OSU Center for Health Sciences and employed by OSU Medical Center at the OSU Medical Center campus in Tulsa.
- Textbooks must be required as part of a regularly scheduled reading program that is supervised and regularly attended by the program director or program trainers.
- Textbooks will be provided only for residents and fellows, not attending physicians.
- Textbooks are limited to one (1) title per program and one (1) copy of the selected textbook per resident/fellow.
- Requests must be submitted between May 1st and September 15th each year for the upcoming academic year.
- Requests should only be submitted by the Program Director or the Chief Resident/Fellow.
- Each textbook is limited to a maximum cost of $250.
Application Process
Applications for textbook grants must be submitted using the Textbook Request Application below and must include the name of each eligible resident/fellow for whom a book is being requested.
The application must be completed by the program director or the chief resident/fellow and approved by the program director.
Distribution
All textbooks will be delivered to the Foundation office. Recipients are responsible for picking up their books at:
