ECC Classes
The Osteopathic Founders Foundation is an authorized provider of American Heart Association (AHA) programs, affiliated with OSU Fire & Safety. Our facility includes 960 square feet of training area. Participants train at intensive skills stations during sessions, utilizing the latest AHA guidelines, training materials, interactive DVDs, and equipment.
ECC training programs including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are presented in a convenient south Tulsa location. The Osteopathic Founders Foundation office and training site are located at 8801 S Yale Ave, Suite 400 (Geophysical Resource Center).
AHA Certification Cards
The American Heart Association has switched from paper cards to AHA eCards for all certifications. Please CLICK HERE to view additional information on AHA eCards.
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Course Requirements:
During Class – Skills Testing, Written Test >84%, and Station Participation.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Course Requirements:
Prior to Class – Proof of current BLS certification (if taking ACLS only), take the online ACLS pretest and bring printed test results to class
During Class – Skills Testing, Written Test >84%, Station Participation
Combined BLS / ACLS Renewal classes are offered monthly. Private ACLS Provider (2-day) classes are available for groups of 6 or more upon request, based on instructor availability.

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Course Requirements:
Prior to Class – Proof of current BLS certification (if taking PALS only), take the online PALS pretest and bring printed test results to class

Combined BLS / PALS Renewal or PALS only Renewal classes are offered every quarter. Private PALS Provider (2-day) classes are available for groups of 6 or more upon request, based on instructor availability.

Friends and Family CPR Classes
This CPR course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only® CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the American Heart Association’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
This course is ideal for schools and students (over age 12), people who work within the community or come in contact with many people in their careers, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
Family and Friends CPR classes are available for groups of 6 or more upon request, based on instructor availability.
Kids CPR
This annual CPR class is specifically designed for kids ages 10-16 who want to learn how to save a life at an early age. This is great for kids who babysit or have younger siblings at home.
Classes may be offered during Spring Break, Summer Break or Winter Break while school is out. Once classes are scheduled, they always fill up quickly and can have lengthy waiting lists.
