Target Audience and Program Objectives
This program is designed primarily for physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in the primary and longitudinal care of women, including family medicine and internal medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, and other primary care clinicians. Because primary care providers are often the first to identify emerging health concerns, assess risk, initiate screening and evaluation, provide patient counseling, and coordinate specialty referrals, they benefit from current knowledge across the broad spectrum of women’s health. These topics are relevant to the comprehensive care of women across the lifespan. The program may also benefit obstetricians and gynecologists, cardiologists, behavioral health professionals, oncologists, endocrinologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the prevention, identification, treatment, and coordination of women’s healthcare.
